It involves the detection, assessment, understanding, and prevention of any adverse effects that may occur with the use of the drugs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any drug product has the potential to trigger adverse events, even those that have undergone extensive development, research, or long periods of commercialization and that comply with rigorous quality standards.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PV is the responsibility of the prescribing physician, the pharmaceutical industry, health authorities, and patients.
